Black Bison Pub

In the early days we always had a lodging shortage and had a couple of rental properties. In order to create more lodging space we purchased this building in 2010 and began renovations. The Black Bison Pub and Loft above is owned and operated by Tommy and Janet Thomeczek. To make reservations for the Loft please call or text Janet at (620) 451-0145.

Be sure to visit the pub when you get in from the field for steaks, gourmet burgers, made from scratch cocktails and a large selection of micro brews.

If you have any energy left at the end of the day or incliment weather drives you indoors you can head down to The Cockpit and enjoy pool, darts, shuffle board and ping pong.

Meals:
While in Syracuse there are 8 local restaurants and the best place to eat in Syracuse is of course the Black Bison Pub. As luck would have it, the Loft sits directly atop Black Bison Pub so it is situated rather conveniently for those staying in the Loft.

Accommodations - Syracuse:
If you are coming to use the range facilities or hunt a bison we recommend staying at The Loft in Syracuse, Ks.

The Loft is a spacious 1800 sq ft loft apartment which can comfortably sleep 6 and is located in downtown Syracuse. The Loft has three bedrooms, a king room, queen room and a room with two singles. The loft is completely furnished with laundry facilities, kitchenette, big screen TV, pool table, wifi, etc. The Loft is less than a block from a pizza shop, donut shop, theater and sits on the second level above the Black Bison Pub. The nightly rate is $125/night for up to two people and $20/night for each additional person after two.

The Loft comes with a few house rules.

(1) Please respect the property
(2) No smoking
(3) In order to preserve the original yellow pine floors, we ask that you kick off your shoes before entering if they are wet or muddy.
(4) Use the coasters provided.
(5) No cleaning of guns in the Loft. If you do bring your guns into the Loft please be mindful not to bang up the walls in the stairwell with gun cases.
(6) No pets
(7) Please do not bring large coolers upstairs. Small coolers are fine.
(8) Guests will assume full financial responsibility for any damage that may occur, accidental or otherwise.
(9) If any of these simple rules are ignored you will agree to forfeit to Rebel Ridge Outfitters your guns, vehicles, women and a year supply of beer.

This is a newly renovated hotel in Syracuse with nice rooms for about $90. Their number is (620) 384-7829.
